{"id":65,"date":"2024-01-25T10:29:06","date_gmt":"2024-01-25T10:29:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/academy-huawei.lums.edu.pk\/?page_id=65"},"modified":"2024-02-06T14:05:03","modified_gmt":"2024-02-06T14:05:03","slug":"policies","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/academy-huawei.lums.edu.pk\/index.php\/policies\/","title":{"rendered":"Policies and Procedures"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">General<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>LUMS has zero tolerance for any form of aggressive behaviour, such as harassment, stalking, or ragging, and can result in strict disciplinary action.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vehicles are allowed to park in the designated Free Parking area only.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Parking on pathways, roads, and crossings is considered a violation of campus policies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Repeated parking violations will result in fines and\/or being barred entry into LUMS.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In accordance with government regulations, vehicles with tinted windows are not allowed entry into the LUMS campus premises.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Smoking is only allowed in designated spaces on campus only. Violations will result in fines and other disciplinary action.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you are unsure about the designated smoking spaces, please ask the academy staff or security office at the in-gate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The outdoor spaces of Baradari Cafe and Khoka are also out of bounds for smoking<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Admission<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>LUMS reserves the right to grant or deny admission to its courses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The admissions are processed on a first-come-first-served basis. No further enrollments will be taken once the seats fill up for a particular course.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Academy reserves the right to change instructors at the start or midway through the course due to unforeseen circumstances.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Certificate of Attendance:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>At least 50% attendance is required to receive a certificate of completion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The name that you submit in the Registration Form will be printed on your certificate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At the end of the course, you will be awarded an E-Certificate, granted that you meet the eligibility criteria.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You may request a printed\/hard copy of the certificate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once your payment is processed for the hard copy of the certificate, your certificate will be dispatched from our end and reach you in 20-25 working days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Refunds<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Refunds are only given if\n<ul>\n<li>Academy management cancels&nbsp;a course<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Or participant request for refund before commencement of classes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once registered, participants cannot switch courses when classes commence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>General Admission Certificate of Attendance: Refunds<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"footnotes":""},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/academy-huawei.lums.edu.pk\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/65"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/academy-huawei.lums.edu.pk\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/academy-huawei.lums.edu.pk\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/page"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/academy-huawei.lums.edu.pk\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/academy-huawei.lums.edu.pk\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=65"}],"version-history":[{"count":8,"href":"https:\/\/academy-huawei.lums.edu.pk\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/65\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":148,"href":"https:\/\/academy-huawei.lums.edu.pk\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/65\/revisions\/148"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/academy-huawei.lums.edu.pk\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=65"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
